Learning Objectives:
By successfully completing this course students will be able to: - Master a working knowledge of excel including learning to create, edit and format worksheets - Master a working knowledge of word including learning to process a variety of advanced workplace documents - Learn to use financial functions, pivot tables and charts, and custom format codes - Add data to multiple worksheets and consolidate data - Enhance skills by working with advanced elements in Microsoft Word, including forms, table of contents, indexing, and tab stops - Find out how to create mail merges, track changes, navigate comments, and compare and combine documents - Confidently work with auto fill, formulas, graphics and charts - Complete advanced typing assignments to build keyboard accuracy and confidence Certification: Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion.
Prerequisites:
Student's should have completed the Beginner's Computer Series or an intake assessment. Assessments can be booked through the registration desk at: 250-591-8977. - Windows Operating system - Office 365 software - Keyboard, Mouse, Computer camera - Good working wifi - Quite place to work
